The purpose of the assessment of the FRCR 2B examination is to evaluate the knowledge, skills, and competency of doctors who wish to specialize in clinical radiology in the UK.
The examination is designed to test the candidate’s ability to interpret and report on a wide range of radiological images, as well as their knowledge of the principles and practice of clinical radiology.
The assessment is conducted by a panel of experienced radiologists who assess the candidate’s performance in both the written and oral examinations.
Have successfully completed the FRCR 2A exam, which is the prerequisite for the FRCR 2B exam.
Have completed a minimum of 34 months of supervised training in clinical radiology after obtaining the primary medical qualification.
